SUMMARY:Last Week to Submit Art/Writing for Indigenous People's Day Celebration
DESCRIPTION:Indigenous People’s Day is just a month away (October 14). We are hoping to see some creativity to show off\, display\, or listen to at the Indigenous People’s Day celebration hosted by the Village of Solomon with partners (like us!). \n\n\n \n\n\nTell a story! Write a poem! Draw a picture! Paint! You’re the artist\, use whatever medium speaks to you.\n\n\n \n\n\nSubmit your writing online to contact@kawerak.org\, or your art/writing in person to drop off to Kawerak Inc Ublugiaq Building\, second floor. Please include your name\, phone number (or teacher’s number)\, age\, and if there is a title. \n\nIf you’re selected (and willing) there is also an opportunity to read your work during the celebration. \n\n\n \n\n\nWe look forward to submissions\, this is open to EVERYONE!
