If you can pay for internet but need the technology\, we invite you to put in an application for our Tech Distribution!\n\n\n\nAs Project Remote is coming to a close on September 30\, we have some extra equipment we want to get in the hands of our regional residents. If you are a Higher Education student enrolled in online classes or a Lifelong Learner (age 50+ living in the region outside Nome) and have not participated in the program to date\, you are eligible!\n\n\n\nApply online at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/PR_endofgrant_app to get started. You will need to submit supplemental documentation (tribal enrollment verification\, EESS intake form and class schedule (HE applicants)) in order for your application to be considered complete.\n\n\n\nApplications must be complete with supplemental documentation and turned in by September 8th to be considered in the random draw. SUMMARY:Last Week To Apply For Subsistence Relief Funds from 2020 Salmon Disaster
DESCRIPTION:The open application period for relief funds due to the 2020 Statewide Salmon Disaster for subsistence users and vessel crew closes September 28th. This applies to anyone who fished in the Norton Sound Region in 2020 who experienced hardship due to the salmon disaster. It does not specify what subunit you were fishing in. Subsistence users (at least 1 per household) must have held a permit from 2016-2020. The amount dispersed will be determined by the number of applications that will split the allotted relief funds.
