If you have the magnets that state, “When you cannot reach a VPSO, call the Alaska State Troopers at 800-443-XXXX or 800-764-XXXX,” please THROW THEM AWAY. Those numbers do not work.
VPSO Program
Village Public Safety Officer (VPSO) Program is a community public safety and law enforcement service. In addition to law enforcement, VPSO’s also provide search & rescue, fire prevention & protection, emergency medical services, probation & parole and the Drug Abuse Resistance Education (DARE) program in their communities.
We understand the unique challenges of rural living and the importance of timely responses. With state training, EMT certifications, and over 40 years of experience, we are equipped to handle emergencies effectively.
