RFP Golovin Former Landfill Revetment Design

Kawerak, Inc.’s Environmental Program seeks an engineer to design a revetment wall to prevent erosion at Golovin’s old landfill site which is located between the southernmost end of the Golovin airport landing strip and the ocean. At this time, decades-old trash can be seen eroding along the banks of Chinik Creek in Golovin.

The recommended solution is to cap the landfill and add a revetment wall to prevent further erosion due to former toxic contents and important streams nearby.
