Kawerak Wellness and the Bering Sea Women’s Group invite you to join us to walk in acknowledgement of Domestic Violence Prevention Month. Help bring awareness to our community that we do not want domestic violence here for our families, friends, or neighbors. Stand as an advocate, or a voice for victims. Honor those who have suffered from the pain of domestic violence, sometimes in silence.

The walk starts at the Golden Goose Lot on Front Street across from Subway at 3pm, and will travel down to the Nome Mini Convention Center. Once there we will gather to listen to speakers, share company and enjoy some desserts.
