Join us on Sundays for an open sewing circle at the Katirvik Cultural Center.

Kammak / Maklak / Traditional Boots

Interested in learning how to make maklaks? Come join us! We will work together each Sunday, learning step-by-step and continuing until everyone has had the opportunity to finish their pair.

Supplies will be available. If you have your own furs or sealskin that you would like to use, please bring them with you.

We plan to continue the Sewing Circle through December, with future projects based on what people are interested in learning. Maybe sunshine ruffs next!
