Qaspaq/Atikluk/Uglaqaq/Qiipaghaq Display and Contest!
Showcase your favorite design, modern or traditional at the Kawerak Regional Conference. Not only will it be admired, but you might also win!
Attendees & the public will vote on their favorite garment, which will be displayed anonymously. The designer with the most votes by the last day of the conference will win a gift card to Sew Far North and a prize package from King Island Fabric Store. Regional artists will have the option to have assistance with utilizing the gift card and receiving the items.
(All submissions must be by the designer themselves. Designers will have an opportunity to sell their garments the last day of the conference, if desired.)
To submit your design:
1. Drop off garment to Kawerak office front desk, 504 Seppala with your contact information ( name, address and phone number) pinned on

2. Mail to Kawerak Inc, ATTN: Regional Conference Kuspuk Contest, PO Box 948, Nome, AK 99762 (Designer is responsible for shipping costs to submit, Kawerak will cover costs to return the garment)
**Kuspuks must be received at Kawerak by November 2nd to be in the display/contest.
