You are invited to attend a listening session to discuss Missing and Murdered Indigenous People challenges and solutions in your community. This event is held in collaboration between the US Department of Justice and Kawerak. We are looking forward to hearing tribes and tribal citizens share their needs, experiences, solutions and ideas to address MMIP issues in our communities.

The listening/consultation sessions will also introduce the AK-MMIP working group members, tribal MMIP pilot project participants, and Operation Lady Justice efforts. This will provide a brief backdrop to their working, participation, jurisdiction, response, and resources to support this effort.
Hear about AK-MMIP working group agency resources and response, participate in a question and answer session with Alaska-MMIP working group state & federal law enforcement, victims and advocacy services, tribal representatives, and the MMIP pilot site tribes members.
