The 2018 Kawerak Regional Conference took place November 6-8 in Nome, Alaska. This year we gathered around the theme: “United Voices for Our Future.” The regional conference presented an opportunity for regional leaders, youth, elders, tribal members and partners to come together to learn, share and inspire. During the three-day conference, attendees engaged in educational workshops, collaborative conversations, as well as enjoyed evening performances with family, friends and new connections from around the region and state.

The theme, “United Voices for Our Future” was chosen by Kawerak staff to represent the interconnectedness of our people and tribes working together to create a strong, thriving, and positive future for the next generations.
