NOTICE: WINTER USE AT PILGRIM HOT SPRINGS

To current & future permit holders for Unaatuq, LLC and Pilgrim Hot Springs:

Winter use requires a valid access permit for all parties, and is AT YOUR OWN RISK. If you have completed a visitor’s permit during summer 2020, your permit is valid until May 2021. If you do not have a current permit, please email pilgrim@kawerak.org to fill one out before visiting.

There are no marked trails leading into or out of Pilgrim Hot Springs. We recommend traveling in a group, with a local guide or someone familiar with the area, and to always let someone know where you are going and when you should be back.

The temperature of the hot springs pool cannot be guaranteed during the winter months. Unaatuq staff checks the pool as often as possible, but it is not maintained daily during the winter season and is affected by air temperatures, snow melt, wind, and natural fluctuations in the geothermal well. If you are concerned about the pool temperature, please reach out to the co-managers via telephone or email.

The pipe leading into the Pilgrim Hot Springs bathing pool has been recently repaired. Please do not move or bend the hot water pipe, as this can cause damage to the main water supply.

Please remove your trash when leaving the property.

If you take photos while visiting the hot springs, please feel free to share and tag us @pilgrimhotsprings on Instagram or email to pilgrim@kawerak.org

Thank you for your help in keeping Pilgrim Hot Springs safe & enjoyable for all. Visit our website https://www.pilgrimhotsprings.com for more information.

Quyanna!
