PRESS RELEASE: Public Safety Investigation Complete
Recently there were concerns raised by the public regarding a situation involving a Kawerak employee. We are aware that residents of Unalakleet and elsewhere were concerned for their safety. Kawerak Inc. has completed its investigation and has addressed the matter, which is a personnel matter and is therefore confidential. While we can’t elaborate further, please be assured we have taken necessary actions to ensure the public remains safe moving forward.
Public safety is a priority for Kawerak and we would also like to announce that at this time we have position vacancies for VPSO positions in Unalakleet, as well as Diomede, Elim, Gambell, Saint Michael, Stebbins, and Wales.
