The Nome Arts Council, Katirvik Cultural Center, and National Park Service are excited to announce the return of the Alappaa Film Festival, featuring films from the far north!
The 7th Alappaa Film Festival is scheduled for Wednesday & Thursday, Feb. 28 & 29, 2024.
This gives YOU time to put together a film to submit for consideration for inclusion at the festival! We are looking for original, locally-created films that are:
- 10 minutes or less (even one minute) in length (got something longer? Ask us about it!)
- Not just video footage, but an edited/produced short film
- Note: This is not a contest, but an opportunity to share locally-made short films.
DEADLINE TO SUBMIT: Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2024. Extended to February 14th!
