Kawerak Inc hosted ten grantmakers on August 27th and 28th. The tour included information about local and regional programs and organizations, as well as a trip to one regional community – Shishmaref. This tour allows philanthropic organizations a first hand look at life in Western Alaska. With this experience they can connect resources to the region as it aligns with their mission.
