Kawerak’s Employment & Training is pleased to offer CDL learners permit class in cooperation with Northwest Campus and with funding support from Alaska Community Foundation.
The 30-hour, 6-day course prepares students to pass the general knowledge and air brakes written exams that are required to apply for a class B or class C CDL permit. To qualify for a CDL permit, you must be at least 19 years of age and have held a valid drivers license for at least one year. You do NOT have to be a tribal member in order to qualify. Applicants from the regional villages are eligible to apply for a travel scholarship!
