The open application period for relief funds due to the 2020 Statewide Salmon Disaster for subsistence users and vessel crew closes September 28th. This applies to anyone who fished in the Norton Sound Region in 2020 who experienced hardship due to the salmon disaster. It does not specify what subunit you were fishing in. Subsistence users (at least 1 per household) must have held a permit from 2016-2020. The amount dispersed will be determined by the number of applications that will split the allotted relief funds. Late applications will not be accepted.
