Kawerak is exploring the development of a Family Justice Center in Nome. A Family Justice Center (FJC) is a community-based center where survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and other family-related trauma can access a range of essential support and services in one place.
These centers offer support from law enforcement, legal assistance, counseling, healthcare, and more—all under one roof—to help survivors and their families find safety and healing.
The survey will take just a few minutes to complete and gauge the need of a Family Justice Center in our community.
