After the success of the inaugural Intro to Heavy Equipment Class boasted much success, Kawerak is once again partnering with NACTEC to offer this training opportunity to bring residents from the Bering Strait directly to realistic training on heavy equipment all in one place with state of the art simulators.
The class will be held April 8-11 in Nome. Kawerak’s Short-term Regional Training Program will provide tribal members with scholarship opportunities for travel and lodging through the length of the training. For questions, call Kendra Nichols-Takak, 443-4388 or 1800-450-4341.
