To bring our communities together, Katirvik Cultural Center staff invites you to show off your traditional clothing and regalia. Sewing is a significant piece to our way of life.

HOW TO SUBMIT
- Take a photograph of yourself showcasing our regional regalia! Any type of traditional clothing can qualify. ONE ENTRY PER PERSON.
- Send in your entry (photograph) to kcc.staff@kawerak.org with the following details:

- Category you would like to enter
- Community *
- Details of the garment

You can include: year made, creator of garment if you did not make it, type of material, hunter (if you would like to honor those that contributed to any fur on the garment) and photographer you would like to credit (if any).

VOTING
Photos will be sent to KCC staff to collect, and the polls will be available on August 5th. The online community will do the voting*; the submissions with the most votes will determine winners. The voting period extends over a few weeks to ensure residents have enough time to view entries amidst the busy subsistence season. Each individual can only submit one vote per category.
*Contestants and voters must be currently residing in the Bering Strait Region.
PRIZES:
- GRAND PRIZE: Wolf pelt
- Top Three in each Category will also earn prizes
